MK HeroClix: 30th May 2013 - Avengers verses Justice League, the 2,000 point bash

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there were previews of Galadriel from the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring; and Vox Populi and Daisy Fitzroy from Bioshock Infinity.

This week as there was no Adrian was Avengers verses Justice League. Darren brought a 2,000 point JLA team, while me and Michael each brought a 1,000 points Avengers team. Me and Michael had to work together ageist Darren. My team was:

Iron Man Mk 15 (010 Marvel Iron Man 3) 221
Moon Knight (032 Marvel Amazing Spider-Man) 109
Ares (034 Marvel Chaos War) 199
Hawkeye (039 Marvel Chaos War) 98
Vision and Scarlet Witch (055 Marvel Chaos War) 180
Mockingbird (005 Marvel Fast Forces Chaos War) 50
Falcon (030 Marvel Captain America) 79
Captain America (205 Marvel Captain America) 50
=986 points.

Sadly I was planning on using Marvel Chaos War Tigra but I could not find her so I had to use Captain America as a last moment replacement. Michael’s team was:

Hercules (016 Marvel Secret Invasion) 142
Dr. Strange (033 Marvel Secret Invasion) 149
Namor (045 Marvel Secret Invasion) 150
Thing (038 Marvel Galactic Guardians) 140
Mr. Fantastic (037 Marvel Galactic Guardians) 130
Invisible Woman (057 Marvel Captain America) 110
Wasp (004 Marvel Fast Forces Chaos War) 50
Yellowjacket (006a Marvel Secret Invasion) 100
Black Panther (106 Marvel Universe) 27
=998 points.

We had fourteen re-roll which made it seven rolls each. And finally Darren’s JLA team were:

Aquaman (015 DC Teen Titans) 110 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 112
Cyborg (025 DC Teen Titans) 143 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 145
Green Lantern (033 DC Teen Titans) 160 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 162
Red Tornado (046 DC Teen Titans) 143 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 145
The Ray (054 DC Teen Titans) 74 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 76
Black Lightning (045 DC Batman) 87 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 89
Geo-Force (046 DC Batman) 157 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 159
Wonder Woman (003 DC Justice League 52) 136 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 138
Firestorm (009 DC Justice League 52) 95 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 97
Firestorm (010 DC Justice League 52) 105 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 1070
John Constantine (019 DC Justice League 52) 59 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 61
Superman (105 DC Crisis) 238 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 240
Big Barda (032 DC Batman) 148 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 150
Hawkman (011 DC Justice League 52) 95 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 = 97
Batman (001 DC Batman) 200 + Justice League Dark (ATA) 2 + Utility Belt (Complete) 14 = 216
=1996 points and fourteen rerolls.

All our rerolls became useless because of John Constantine and it was difficult to make range attacks due to Batman’s trait giving everybody (apart from Superman) the Batman AT and the Justice League Dark ATA which reduced all our range values by two. Sadly I could not that down any of Darren’s characters, but Michael managed to take down five which were both Firestroms, Wonder Woman, Hawkman and The Ray. As you may have noticed, we lost.

Next week should be the second week the three week campaign calling “Thought The Decades”. 500 points, no figure over 200 points, you must have the chosen character at Experience level. To remind people my chosen character is Iron Man, Darren’s is Dr. Strange, Michael’s is Warmachine and Adrian’s is Storm.

Until next time, Armour Up.

Neoscream's Life: 20th to 26th of May 2013

NRX-044 Asshimar (Moblie Suit mode)
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee.

Monday was the third session of the Wargames Workshop MK DreadBall League. For half of us this will be the last session of the league as only the top two teams of each group will compete in the semi finals and finals next month. Will I be playing next month or not in the league? I was on first place in group B at the start of third session with two wins and two loses, so it is up to how well I do in the third session. I forgot my Coaching Staff AJ figure so Coach Renton had to cover for her. With the points I have earned last time, I brought an extra coaching dice to bring the total to three. On the first round I was up against Rob T. Sadly he won the game by one or two points. From that game I earned enough credits for another coaching dice to bring it up to four coaching dice. On the second and final match I was up against Gavin R. I managed to win the match by one or two points. This placed me in still in first place of my group meaning I would be in the semis next month against David B, the runner up of his group. Or so I thought. The next day I noticed an error on Guardians of Tyr's website (the people who are running the leagues and tournaments for Wargames Workshop). They had me down as winning my second game against Carl last month. I massage them about it and I am still waiting for a response.

On Friday I learnt that the Gadget Show is back on TV on the 3rd of June. Jason Bradbury and Pollyanna Woodward are back in a brand new studio, Jon Bentley rejoins them and they are being joined by a new host to the show Rachel Riley.

Now for the Mantic news. CAD images of the DreadBall Mecha has been reviled with a scaled picture next to an Enforcer as well as a CAD image of the prone Zee marker. With the Deadzone KickStarter, during the week the extra stretch goals that were unlocked are: Doctor Gayle Simmonds special character was added to Recon level and above (not including terrain only levels); a free digital copy of the Deadzone Short Story Compilation for every pledge level; the special character Recon Unit N32-19 to Recon level and above; the Ruins BattleZone; the Inferno Drill and three Brokkrs were added to the Forge Father Starter Faction; a Weapon Drone with Energy Cannon/Shield Generator, a Cypher with Fission Beam and two more Cyphers with Flux Rifles were added to the Asterian Faction starter set; the character Nastanza the Huntress free with Recon level and above; an extra scenario for the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign which make it a total of six scenarios; and the Deadzone Compendium which comes with the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign rules, the Forge Fathers faction, the Asterians faction, a painting guide and now Plague ZOMBIES which all pledge levels will get as a free PDF and people who pledged $300 or more will get a free signed physical copy. Also the active goals for the Deadzone KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: hard plastic plague zombies will be made that are compatible with Kings of War zombies will be made and five will be added to Striker level and above (not including terrain only levels) at $635,000; a Cypher Black Talon added to the Asterian Faction Starters and a Brokkr with Muspell-pattern Rifle added to the Forge Father Faction Starter both at $650,000; and a new scenario to the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign for every 500 backers. This week will be this last week of the KickStarter, let us see what new stuff can be funded.

Next is Crooked Dice Games news. They are now stocking nine new miniatures for use with 7th Voyage from Harwood Hobbies In four packs. The first pack is Kali Cultists that is a three figure pack which has Lesath the Kali Cultist Leader, Kali Cultist and Kali Deathdealer. The second pack Cursed Creatures that features the masked Visier and the tormented Harpy. The third Desert Slavers has a Dervish Avenger and Slave Girl. And the fourth pack is The Princess and the Wizard which speaks for itself. Also I missed two weeks ago, next month will see three time lost travellers. These are: Eliza, Victorian Samurai; Sachs - a mutated manservant; and Genevieve - a martial maid. Eliza and Sachs come with human head on the tab PLUS an alternate Saurian or Toad-face head for variety. Basically they are (with the alternate heads) Vastra, Jenny and Strax from Doctor Who. It has been reviled that they should be in the store on the 1st of June. I have got to order a pack or two of these. Please oh please do a figure based on Clara Oswald.

As the Robotech RPG Tactics KickStarter has finished I have decided to blog about two other KickStarters I have backing. OVA: Anime Role-Play Game and Mekton Zero that I have just started during the weekend.

First off is OVA KickStarter news. Before last week it was funded and several scratch goals were made. These were: a deluxe dust jacket for the physical rulebook; an eBook version of the rules for Swift Samurai level and above; a mobile phone app for the game for Swift Samurai level and above; an add on book called Plastic Hearts as a free PDF for Swift Samurai level and above; and a bookmark that doubles as a reference sheet to the Bounty Hunter level and above. I am currently at Swift Samurai level, but was considering up to Bounty Hunter level until I spotted Mekton Zero. During the week the extra goals that were unlocked were: the Tablet app. Also the active stretch goals for the OVA KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: Miho will personally pack your package for you and slip in a custom die graced with her own visage for all backers of $30 or more at $80,000. There are requests for more as add ons.

Lastly is the Mekton Zero KickStarter news. Mekton is a mecha role-play from the makers of the Cyberpunk 2020 role-play games that was first released in 1984. It went through three different editions over the years, the last one being Mekton Zeta that was released back in 1994. There was a Gundam game release in Japan back in 2000 that uses the Mekton system. There were plans releasing an English version but it never happen. On Saturday I learnt that Makton is making a comeback via KickStarter. However Zero is not the open world game as the other Mekton games were. It is set it the Algol universe that was covered in the official settings stuff towards the back of the book. By the sound of things you cannot build from scratch new mecha in Zero, but you can customise a premade model and the game compatible with old Mekton Zeta system so you can use Zeta to build bread new mecha. The system used is basically the Zeta, but was some changes to stream line the game and to improve to characters. The initial funded for it was finished during Sunday morning.  Then I went to bed on Sunday night there was currently no stretch goals.

Before the AJ Lee news, let us talk about Extreme Rule. The pre-show match was The Miz verses Cody Rhodes. I was hoping the Miz would win and he did.

The first match was the veteran Y2J Chris Jericho in a rematch against the new be Fandango. At Wrestlemania, Fang Dimbat managed to win against Jericho in his debut match. Luckily Jericho was able to defeat Fang Dimbat.

Next was the Strap Match between Sheamus and Mark Henry. Sheamus managed to pull a shocker by beating the world's strongest man. From a scene from the locker rooms, Mark left almost in tears. Is this Mark leaving for good?

Next was Dean Ambrose of the Shield verses the U.S. Champion Kofi Kingston in a title match. There were worries that this would turn into a three on one match. But Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns headed after walking Dean half way to the ring. It looked like Kofi had the advantage. However Dean managed to shock the world by winning the match and gaining the U.S. Championship. Seth and Roman both came out to celebrate with Dean.

Next was a match that the injured World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee would be watching closely. Alberto Del Rio verses Jack Swagger in an 'I Quit' Match for the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Zeb Colter tried making the ref think that Ricardo Rodriguez had thrown in the towel for Del Rio. But the ref watched a reply and saw it was Zeb and restarted the match. Del Rio managed to get Swagger to say 'I Quit', making Del Rio the number one contender.

The next match was The Shield’s Seth and Roman verses WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No Tornado Tag Team Title Match. Dean was not at ringside for them. Sadly team Hell No lost the match, meaning they lost the titles. Even though it was Daniel Bryan that was pinned, there is no way I would class him as the weak link.

Sadly due to the bloody cricket I have not seen past here until yesterday (Monday). So I have to quickly write about the last three matches skipping bit I would have liked to talk more about. Randy Orton defeated the Big Show in an Extreme Rules Match. Brock Lesnar sadly defeated Triple H in a Steel Cage match. And WWE Champion John Cena and Ryback wrestled to a in a double count out in their Last Man Standing Match. Cena was badly injury and refused medical help. He was not even on Raw like he is normally.

AJ on Raw
Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. AJ appeared on Extreme Rules back stage on the phone to Dolph. Kaitlyn was being rude and insulting to poor AJ.  AJ made a comeback remark as Kaitlyn was walking off and then Kaitlyn last it and attacked AJ. The officials backstage had to break them up with the Bella Twins laughing their heads off. What does not make things better one of the commitaors (if memory serves me right it was Jerry "the King" Lawler) saying that AJ was picking on Kaitlyn and that she had enough.

This week on Raw AJ appeared twice (not counting the backstage replay from Extreme Rules). The first time was when she was supporting Big E Langston in his match against Del Rio. Big E won the match. It was not Big E's or AJ's fault that the ref is easier distracted by shiny things that should not be at ringside. The second time was the match afterwards. It was AJ verses Layla. Again Aj won by applying the Black Widow on Layla and making her tap out on her ass.

WTF from Main Event
AJ was on Main Event as well last week. I have not seen Main Event as I do not know of any UK airing of it. So this is based on what I seen online. She was supporting Big E in his rematch against Del Rio which sadly Big E lost.

Cosplay Deviants: 20th to 26th May 2013

Kotetsu T. Kaburagi aka Wild Tiger from
Tiger and Bunny
Shiny in "Crusher"
Welcome the Cosplay Deviants post, this is where I post PG rated previews of the week’s sets from the site Cosplay Deviant and sometime talk a bit about them too.

On Monday there was a new set from the new male deviant Shiny. The set is called Crusher and in it he cosplays as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi aka Wild Tiger from Tiger and Bunny.

Envy in "Party"

Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony

On Wednesday there was a new set from the deviant Envy. The set is called Party and in it she cosplays as human version of Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony.

Star Pixie in "Wonderful"

On Saturday there was a new set from the deviant StarPixie. The set is called Wonderful. I can find that the cosplay is from the Wizard of Oz or one of its spin offs, but who she is cosplaying as I do not know.

And now finally this week’s Cosplay Cards section. This week I have a new the Cosplay Card for Envy and an update to Ivy's card as I have confirmed who she is cosplaying as last week, it was Red Riding Hood. I will do a new card for StarPixie when I know the character she did.

Until next time, Armour Up.

MK HeroClix: 23th May 2013 - 300! 400! What's the differences?

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there were previews of Frodo Baggins from the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring; Pandora, Phantom Stranger, Question and the Trinity Sin team base from the 2013 Conventions Exclusives; Mokk the Breaker of Faith, Hawkeye, Titania and Skirn the Breaker of Men from Fear Itself; and the ATA The Mighty. Also the 2013 Marvel HeroClix Fan Vote winner was Blink. So we see a new Blink in the future. Still waiting for last year’s winner, Death’s Head.

This week the start of a three week campaign that I am calling “Thought The Decades”. Pick a character. On the first week it will be 400 points, no figure over 100 points including add-ons, you must have the chosen character at Rookie level. On the second week it will be 500 points, no figure over 200 points, you must have the chosen character at Experience level. And finally on the third and final week it will be 600 points, no figure over 200 points, you must have the chosen character at Veteran level. Everybody who knows me and that reads this blog should know the character I have chosen. Iron Man. But sadly I messed up with my team build. When I was building my team I thought it was 300 point and not 400 point. Face Palm. My 300 points team was

Iron Man Mk 7 (001 Marvel Iron Man 3) 75
Thor (005 Marvel HeroClix 10th Anniversary) 100
Captain America (001 Marvel Chaos War) 60
Scarlet Witch (006 Marvel Chaos War Fast Forces) 50
Quicksilver (106 Marvel Infinity Challenge) 18
=303 points and two re-rolls.

On the first round I was up against Darren. He was using a Marvel Knights themed team who were:

Spider-Man (201 Marvel Amazing Spider-Man) 75
Dagger (203 Marvel Amazing Spider-Man) 65
Dr. Strange (206 Marvel Galactic Guardians) 75
Luke Cage (014 Marvel Captain America) 98
Punisher (030 Marvel Secret Invasion) 83
=396 points and four re-rolls.

Darren’s chosen character was Dr. Strange. He won the game like normal, however I did taking down Luke Cage. It was when we were working out point we the points mistake I made. For the next two games I upped Scarlet Witch to her 75 version and added the Iron Man Briefcase I keep in my case. This upped my team to 340 points and four re-rolls. Also Michael won his game against his brother Adrian. On the second round I was up against Adrian. He was using an X-Men team who were:

Cyclops (002 Marvel Giant Size X-Men Fast Forces) 75
Wolverine (029 Marvel Chaos War) 90
Marvel Girl (001 Marvel Mutations and Monsters) 40
Sunfire (059 Marvel Armour Wars) 61
Storm (064 Marvel Universe) 35
Nightcrawler (085 Marvel Clobberin’ Time) 83
=384 points and four re-rolls.

Adrian’s chosen character was Storm. I had 44 points less than him and I still manage to win. I only lost Iron Man. Oh and Scarlet Witch got the Briefcase this game. Also Darren won his game against Adrian. On the third round and final round I was up against Michael. He was using a Soldier themed team who were:

Captain America (040 Marvel Hammer of Thor) 72
Winter Soldier (050 Marvel Avengers) 70
SHIELD Sniper (005 Marvel Sinister) 22
War Machine (067 Marvel Armour Wars) 94
The Thing (104 Marvel Secret Invasion) 100
Domino (028 Marvel Mutant Mayhem) 35
=393 point and two re-rolls.

Michael’s chosen character was Warmachine. With 53 points less than his team, I defeated him won the game. Oh and Captain America got the Briefcase this game. Also Darren won his game against Michael.

As there is no Adrian next week, the second week of “Thought The Decades” will be pushed back. Next week Darren will bring 2,000 points JLA team while both me and Michael will each bring a 1,000 Avengers team.

Until next time, Armour Up.

Neoscream's Life: 13th to 19th of May 2013

The Invasion Begins

Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game, the Geek Goddess AJ Lee and ROBOTECH RPG TACTICS.

Monday was my birthday and was eventful. I went food ship with my mum. Go birthday wishes from friends, work colleges, ex-work colleges, the MFC model CandyWhisper and the deviant KittyStar. I also found that my Twitter account got suspended during the latter half of the week before. I managed to get it unsuspended, but it has been very buggy, many on my phone apps.

Coming back to work on Tuesday was a big shock. We now do Smoothies and Frappés, and we now have a new Boiler to cook the meat with. Also one of our Supervisors got a new job during the work and has left us at the end of the week.

On Friday night Simon and Lucy were in Milton Keynes celebrating Simons 30th, which was of Tuesday. The plan was to meet at Colette at about 8pm before heading out to bars and clubs. Due to work and transport I had to leave at about 10:20pm to catch the bus home. When I left they were all still at Colette’s, but were planning on leaving to a bar very soon. There was a good turnout (sadly on Jake) and it was great seeing everybody.

Now for the Mantic news. I forgot to state last week that Mantic’s estimated plan for shipping the second shipment of DreadBall KickStarter stuff over ran by a week. Also there have been several mistakes done. For example, my extra Robot teams and others have been getting two Anne-Marie Helder, BUT everybody who got Z’zor a second guard instead of a fifth Jack. Mantic have stated that they will be sending the missing Z’zor Jack to people in the third shipment. For leagues and tournament, Mantic have posted alternate starter teams based on the mistake. These rules can be found on their forums and will be discontinued on the 1st of December of this year. Next month will be the start of the Summer of Kings of War, Mantic’s fantasy army game. This is where they be released the new stuff they had made from their Kings of War KickStarter from last year. Also Mantic as teamed up with Topps (former owners of Wizkidz) to produces a Mars Attacks wargame that will come out next year. I bet their will be a KickStarter for it. Oh and Monday just gone was the third League event of the DreadBall league I am in. I will report about it next week. With the Deadzone KickStarter, during the week the extra goals that were unlocked were: the Fortified Defence Line BattleZone; a Chovar Mercenary; two new Faction Starters who are the Asterian and the Forge Fathers which you can get your choose of one in the Striker pledge level for free; and an additional Building Sprue has been added to each BattleZone. Also the active goals for the Deadzone KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: Doctor Gayle Simmonds special character added to Recon level and above (not including terrain only levels) at $520,000; free digital copy of the Deadzone Short Story Compilation with every pledge; and a new scenario to the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign for every 500 backers.

Next is Crooked Dice Games news. There was nothing this week sadly. There has not been a May newsletter yet, ever.

Now for the RoboTech: RPG Tactics news. Well the KickStarter has just ended and in the last week and Monday of this we have manage to unlocked: the Queadluun-Raus as an add-on plus an Experimental Upgrade Kit; Miriya’s Queadluun-Rau in the Battle Cry level; two more Artillery Battlepods have be added to Battle Cry level; the VEF-1 and VF-1D Valkyies as an add on plus the ability to upgrade one of them to a Super Valkyie; the Armoured Valkyries as an add on plus they were doubled in number from two to four; decal sheets added to the Starter Set; and three Nousjadeul-Ger have been added to Battle Cry level; Zentraedi Light Infantry have be included with the Heavy Infantry add on making six of each; SF-3A Lancer II as an add on plus they were doubled in number from two to four; all Valkyries now include a R type head as well; two objective packs as add ons; the Glaug-Eldare as two different add ons; two Super Valkyrie was added to Battle Cry level; new high end pledge levels which makings me wish I had $5,000 to spent on one; three Queadluun-Raus have been added to the Battle Cry level to celebrate hitting $1m plus an Experimental Upgrade Kit; the QF-3000E Ghost drone fighters as an add on plus they were doubled in number from two to four; Command Points tokens have be added to the starter set; resin bases based on the SDF-1 flight deck as an add on; a resin 70-80mm tall SDF-1 as a KickStarter and convention exclusive add on; command upgrade parts added to the standard Destroids Sprue; two SF-3A Lancer II were added to Battle Cry level; the Quel-Gulnau Recovery Pod was added to the Starter set and Battle Cry level (basically Battle Cry level will have two of these as it will be part of the Zentraedi Battlepod command sprue); the VF-4 Valkyies as an add on; the VF Orguss Valkyrie as an add on; two QF-3000E Ghost drone fighters were added to Battle Cry; the Artillery Battlepod add ons now included an upgrade kit to make Experimental Heavy Particle Cannon Variants; the Spartan pack add ons now include an upgrade kit  to make an experimental Phalanxes. I decided to include the stuff from Monday and very early Tuesday morning as when I first started writing this post I thought is ended Sunday and it would be easier to post as well. The last eight days of the KickStarter was epic. It has beaten DreadBall, Kings of Wars and Loka all put together. It has made Deadzone look crap, even though it is doing well. At the end the Robotech RPG Tactics made $1,442,312 and had 5,342 backers. Sadly the goals we did not do by the end of the KickStarter were: the Artillery Battlepod Experimental Upgrade Kit would have been included in Battle Cry level at $1.455m; an experimental NousJadeul-Ger would have been added to the add on at $1.48m and to Battle Cry level at $1.525m; the experimental Phalanx upgrade kit would have been added to Battle Cry level at $1.5m; and two VF-4 Valkyries would have been added to Battle Cry at $1.6m. The only one I really upset about is missing the VF-4 Valkyries from the Battle Cry level.

So in December I should be getting in my Battle Cry level shipment: nine standard VF-1A/J/R/S Valkyies in all three modes, Rick Hunter’s Valkyie in all three modes, Roy Fokker’s Valkyie in all three modes, twenty-four Regult Battlepods, two Glaug Battlepods, Khyron’s Glaug Battlepods, eight Destroids, two Quel Regult Battlepods, four Artillery Battlepods, three Gnerl Fighters, three Nousjadeul-Ger, two Super Valkyie in all three modes, three Queadluun-Raus, Miriya’s Queadluun-Rau, two SF-3A Lancer II, two Quel-Gulnau Recovery Pods, an Experimental Upgrade Kit for the Queadluun-Raus, two QF-3000E Ghost drone fighters, Laminated Cards for all the units, a softcover Rulebook, an Art Print, twelve UEDF faction dice, twelve Zentraedi faction dice, an Artillery Template, a UEDF decal sheet, a Zentraedi decal sheet, ten UEDF faction Command Point tokens and ten Zentraedi faction Command Point Tokens. That is about £1.20 a figure including postage. I also up my pledged to include the Mk II Monster, Objective Pack One and the SDF-1. I might also add the Armoured Valkyies and extra UEDF faction Command Point tokens during the survey. I might also buy a pack of VF-4s to paint one red and make its gun more guitar like and maybe alt the head to be more human like (Macross 7 all the way).

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. AJ was on Raw three times last week. The first time was when Teddy Long had to make a decision over the triple threat ladders match for Extreme Rules. The reason was because on Smackdown the week before, Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion at the foot of Jack Swagger and now is not medically cleared to wrestle by Extreme Rules. Teddy decided to change the match into a Number One Contender I Quiet match between Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. The second time she was supporting Big E Langston in his match. His opponent was chosen by the fans. Their chooses were Swagger or Del Rio and they chose Swagger. Big E dominated the match, but lost by countout  The third time we saw AJ was in her match against Natalya where AJ revealed a new move, a submission move she called the Black Widow. The style and name fits AJ perfectly. Love the way the opponent has to tap her fantastic ass.  AJ was not on Smackdown this week.

AJ using the Black Widow on Natalya
I will be posting results for Extreme Rule is next week’s post and sorry for the lack of a my pre thought of the pay-per-view, I have been forgetting to do them.

Model Painting: 20th May 2013

Welcome to another Model Painting post. This post will normally happen on ever on a Monday or a Wednesday.

This week was a standard seven pointer and I managed to do this week High Exemplar Kross, a Repenter light Warjack, two Female Corporation players and a Cheerleader.

This week's group shot
This week's Warmachine stuff
This week's Dreadball stuff
I would have include a full size starter team of the Female Corporation team, however something happen to the photo, which lead to it being unusable. I will try redo the photo for next week's post, that is if I do not forget about it. Next week should be another seven pointer which should be: three Robot jacks, one Robot Striker and three M.I.B. agents.

Until next time, Armour Up.

Cosplay Deviants: 13th to 19th May 2013

Rei Ayanami from Evangelion
Helel in "Wonder Girl"
Welcome the Cosplay Deviants post, this is where I post PG rated previews of the week’s sets from the site Cosplay Deviant and sometime talk a bit about them too.

On Monday there was a new set from the new deviant Helel. The set is called Wonder Girl and in it she cosplays as Rei Ayanami from Evangelion. It is nice to have an Evangelion set on my birthday.

Ichigo in "Side-Kick"
Batgirl
On Wednesday there was a new set from the returning deviant Ichigo. The set is called Side-Kick and in it she cosplays as Batgirl from the Batman comics. It is great to see Ichigo back again. Sadly the set was not one of my favourites from her as she keeped the mask on throughout the set. But doing so meet she stayed in character, which improves the general quality of the set.

Ivy in "Seeing Red"
On Saturday there was a new set from the deviant Ivy. The set is called Seeing Red. I cannot find anything that clearly states who she is cosplaying as, but an educated guess I would say Little Red Riding Hood or at least a character based on her.

And now finally this week’s Cosplay Cards section. This week I have updated the Cosplay Cards for Ichigo. I will leave Ivy until I have confirmed who she is cosplaying as.

Until next time, Armour Up.

MK HeroClix: 16th May 2013 - Titans Unleashed

Welcome to the MK HeroClix post. This is a weekly post with HeroClix news and results of Thursday's HeroClix game at MK Wargames Society at York House. This week there were previews of an Orc Warrior and an Orc Archer from the Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring; two different version of Red She-Hulk and Ms Marvel from Marvel Fear Itself; and Boy of Silence and the Booker and Liz duo fig. On other HeroClix news DC Teen Titans has been released.

There was no HeroClix this week as both Darren and Micheal could not do it this week.

Until next time, Armour Up.

Neoscream's Life: 6th to 12th of May 2013

MS-11 Ace Zaku
Welcome to the Neoscream's Life post. This is a weekly post of some of the things I have done last week and news on stuff from Crooked Dice Games, Mantic Game and the Geek Goddess AJ Lee. This week I decided to go a little old school with this post by doing a day by day event than just talking about the main events, however I will has the news stuff below and barely talk about them in the day section.

As Monday was a bank holiday, I had to work. However I started at 12PM instead of the normal 10AM. Because of this I was able to go food shopping with my mum and have breakfast out. After work, dinner and posting the Model Painting post I continue to tidy my and piling up stuff for the Bring and Buy at Champaign while listening to a K-Pop group called Girl's Day. Yes I did say K-Pop and not J-Pop. I heard of Girl's Day from a friend on MFC.

On Tuesday morning I went to Optical Express for an annual eye check at 9AM. I had a little wander round the city before heading home. When I got home I continued spring clearing my bedroom. But I stopped when I got my HeroClix Iron Man 3 brick.

On Wednesday I was reorganising my HeroClix figures and card, DVDs, conceal games and spar miniature bit many.

On Thursday I was super busy listing all the stuff I was taking to the Bring and Buy and finishing of tiding my bedroom. I had to cancel HeroClix as I had an early start on Friday, the reason why is posted under Fridays section. Also I needed the extra time tiding.

Friday was I BIG mystery day. For about a month now my parents have been telling me to leave the whole day totally free. Odd thing is that my parents are both working and both Richard and Darren H claim they know nothing about it and that they are work. Then the week before last my dad stated that I have to be ready to go when he gets home which will be about 7AM. WTF! However my dad never turned up, but Richard and Darren H did 7:30AM. They had been the masterminds planning this outing all the time and yes they were late. The three of us went to Thorpe Park. They realised that they over estimate the travel so we stopped at a motorway service station for a bit to let the traffic die down a bit. At Thorpe Park we went on The Swarm, Colossus, Nemeseis Inferno, Tidal Wave, X, Storm Surge, Quantum, Logger’s Leap, Rumba Rapids three times, Rocky Express twice and Richard did Stealth by himself. We did not do Saw or Samurai as they were not working all day. Also we all won prizes. I won a alien, Darren H won a gigantic pirate meerkat and Richard won a ball shaped cow white he gave to mum to give to one of her co-workers. It was a very enjoyable day. However I had problems getting to sleep that night.

Saturday was another early morning as I had to get my Bring and Buy stuff (with the help of Richard) to Champaign before 9AM. We took four boxes and a bag of stuff to sell on the Bring and Buy. I noticed several great looking Warmachine and Hordes deals at the Bring and Buy. A Protectorate of Menoth force for £25 and a Khador force for £60 to name the two good ones. During the day I managed to get two games in. The first one being Napoleonic air balloon attack game and the other was a demo of Warmachine. After the Warmachine demo I decided to pick up one of the Warmachine forces and with the help from the people running the demo I picked the Protectorate of Menoth and a booster with a Vassal of Menoth all for £30. That was a 33 point force. This was much better than the possible £150 for a 35 point Convergence of Cyriss, and can be use as a force to get me into Machine before getting a Convergence of Cyriss and let me build it up slowly than all at once.  I manage to make £75.15 from the Bring and Buy so far on the first day. When I got home I found my second DreadBall shipment had arrived. More about that in the Mantic news section.

On Sunday morning, both me and my mum went to Champaign in the morning where I slashed the prices of the stuff that did not sell yesterday. My mum brought a suit at the Centre MK and then we had lunch at Pizza Express. After lunch my mum went home and I returned to Champaign. I got two games of a racing game called Silent Running. At the end of the day I made an extra £5.85 at the Bring and Buy. Sadly Sundays do not normally do well. This brings the total to £81 and three boxes of unsold stuff to bring home.  However my dad did take the old White Dwarfs and books to a charity shop, which left the HeroClix doubles and several other small bits. Champaign was enjoyable but is getting smaller and smaller each year and Salute is miles better. However you can not get any where near the Bring and Buy at Salute as it is so packed.

Now for the Mantic news. Saturday was Mantic's open day, but due to Champaign being on the same weekend, I could not go. However also on Saturday my DreadBall second shipment arrived. Hippy. Like recently there was a mistake in the delivery. They sent me two extra Robot teams and an extra Mee'Kel Judwan as they forgot to note down that I got him at Salute. C'est La Vie. One extra Robot team is useful as it pumps the Jacks to maximum, but two is too much. Sadly I was not able to sell the extra team at Campaign on Sunday. With the Deadzone KickStarter, during the week the extra goals that were unlocked were: an extra Yndij hunter in the Reb Faction Starter; an extra Goblin Sniper in the Marauders Faction Starter; Scenery only Pledge level and add-ons were add; a 3rd Generation Plague with Heavy Machinegun in the Plague Faction Starter; an extra Scenery Sprue to Recon level and above; new scenery based pledge levels and add-ons; the Landing Pad Battlezone; a new specialist for each of the Factions that (not include in the Starts Factions); an extra trooper figure to all the Faction Starter sets; and a new scenario to Nexus Psi Digital Campaign that involves a yet unnamed DreadBall MVP. Also the active goals for the Deadzone KickStarter when I went to bed on Sunday night were: the Fortified Defence Line BattleZone at $450,000; and a new scenario to the Nexus Psi Digital Campaign for every 500 backers.

Next is Crooked Dice Games news. There was nothing this week sadly.

Now for the RoboTech: RPG Tactics news. This week will be the last week of this KickStarter This week the extra goals that were unlocked were: three extra standard Battlepods to Battle Cry level; all cards will now be laminated; size of the Artillery (was calling them Support) Battlepod add-on from two to four; Super Valkyries; three Gnerl fighters were added to the Battle Cry level; one more Spartan and Phalanx Destroids has be added to the Battle Cry level; and Zentraedi Heavy Infantry. The active goals when I went to bed on Sunday night was Queadluun-Rau at $700,000; a special character Queadluun-Rau (Miriya) for Battle Cry level at $7250,000; two more Artillery Battlepods will be added to Battle Cry at 3,200 backers; and decal sheets added to the Starter Set at 3,500 backers. Other units planned to come in the future are the Armoured Valkyries, VEFR-1 Electronic Warfare Valkyrie, QF-3000E Ghost, SF-3A Lancer II, VF-01D Valkyrie, and Zentraedi Light Infantry. Let's see what can be unlocked in the final week. It is already less than £1.50 per figure with the Battle Cry level (including Postage and Packaging).

Now for what AJ Lee has been up to this past week. AJ was on Raw twice this week. The First time she was supporting Dolph Zigger with Big E Langston. Dolph was up against Alberto Del Rio. In the middle of the match Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger came out and joined the commentary. Del Rio won the match by disqualification as Big E throw Del Rio into Swagger. Swagger then beat the crap out of everyone (apart from Zeb and AJ). The second time AJ appeared on Raw was in a six Diva tag match. It was AJ and the Bella Twins verses Kaitlin and the Funkadactyls. This ended up being a three on one match as the Bella Bitches walked out on AJ during the match. Why? Because the Ballas are a bunch of Bitches, that is why. This led to AJ losing the match.

AJ was on Smackdown twice. The first time she and Dolph were supporting Big E in his match against Swagger with Del Rio on commentary. However the match never happened as there was a big bust up between Dolph, Del Rio, Swagger and Big E. AJ was safely out of the way. The second time we saw AJ was when she was trading insults with her former best friend Kaitlyn.
