HeroClix, Mentors and Support

Welcome to another week of HeroClix. The previews for this week were Punisher (with sniper rifle) and Spider-Man from the Incredible Hulk set; Lurtz, Mouth of Sauron and Shagrat from the Lord of the Rings set; and Superman from the Battle for Smallville Fast Forces set.

Sadly there was no HeroClix again this week. Also we will not be doing the Fireworks day special. Instead Darren just said to turn up next week. As I was about the post this post I received a text from Darren with a bit more detail about the event. Independence Day - just bring yourselves, but be ready for three rounds of 300 points.

Now for DreamClix. This week I will be doing ideas for Yotsuba Group Member from Death Note; Kubota from Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex; the WilyKit and WilyKat duo from Thundercats; Asuma Sarutobi from Naruto; and Zeff from One Piece. But first here are the dial designs for Polong, Mr. Sergei and Lucius Isaac from the Blade anime; Cheetara from Thundercats; Paz from Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex; and Coby from One Piece.

Next is a Yotsuba Group Member from Death Note. The Yotsuba Group is a group of eight characters that are members of the Yotsuba Corporation. On Light's instruction, Rem delivers the Death Note to one of them. They meet weekly to discuss the killing of key individuals from competing companies to maintain dominance in the business industry. While they realize that one of them is Kira, Kyousuke Higuchi. Due to the number of them I decided to make most of them as a generic. They should have a special called "Collective Kira" and Stealth.
Collective Kira: This character can use Enchanted but only on characters with the Kira keyword.
They should have about three or four clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 6, Attack 8, Defense 16, Damage 1 and Range 4 with one target. They should not have a TA and their keyword should be Kira. The next Death Note idea should be the real Kira of the Yotsuba Group, Kyosuke Higuchi.

Next is a Lab Technician generic from Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex. These guys work on the Section 9's equipment and help characters like Ishikawa is hacking computers. Normally wearing red lab coats. They should have a special called "Technician".
Technician: Kubota can use Support, but only on characters with the Robot keyword.
He should have about four clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 7, Attack 9, Defense 16, Damage 1 and Range 0. He should not have a TA and his keywords should be Section 9 and Scientists. The next Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex idea should be the Operators.

Next is the WilyKit and WilyKat duo from Thundercats. WilyKit and Wilykat often wander the streets, Wilykat uses his words to distract while Wilykit uses her musicial instrument to hypnotize them. Wilykat then steals food and money from people. Both of them dream of someday saving up enough money to go and find a map that will lead them to the lost city of gold and riches, El-dara, where "cats will be begging them for money." They should have the Duo symbol, Leap Climb, Incapacitate and a special called "Candy Fruit".
Candy Fruit: If there is at least one opposing character adjacent to WilyKit and WilyKat, you can give them a power actions. If you do, all adjacent opposing characters suffer a -1 to their Defense values and WilyKit and WilyKat gains a +1 to their Defense value.
They should have about four or five clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 9, Attack 9, Defense 18, Damage 2 and Range 4 with one target. They should have the Thundercats TA and their keywords should be Animal, Kid and Thunderian. The next  Thundercats idea should be Panthro.

Next is the Asuma Sarutobi from Naruto. Asuma Sarutobi is the leader of Team 10 (also know as Team Asuma) and son of the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi. He had a falling out with his father when he was younger, and briefly left Konohagakure in protest. The two had not completely reconciled by the time of Hiruzen's death.ch. 314 Asuma is usually seen smoking a cigarette, but will temporarily drop the habit when something is bothering him, such as when his father died. Among all his students, Asuma shares a particularly close relationship with Shikamaru Nara, and the two often play shogi or go together. Asuma frequently appears alongside Kurenai Yuhi, leading many characters to assume the two are a couple. Both deny this and promptly try to change the subject whenever it is brought up. In battle, Asuma wields trench knives that can be infused with chakra. When infused with his wind-based chakra, Asuma can extend the blades' length and easily pierce through rock. He should have a special called "Wind Chakra Enchanted Blade", a trait called "Team 10", Charge, Toughness and Willpower.
Wind Chakra Enchanted Blade: Asuma can use Psychic Blast and Exploit Weakness.
Team 10: All characters with the Team Asuma keyword that ate adjacent to Asuma gain a +1 to their Defense value.
He should have about six or seven clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 9, Attack 10, Defense 17, Damage 3 and Range 6 with one target. He should have Naruto TA and his keywords should be Konohagkure, Team Asuma and Twelve Guardian Ninja. The next Naruto idea should be Mitarashi Anko.

Next is Zeff from One Piece. Zeff is a former pirate known as "Red-Leg" and is also Sanji's mentor. He know runs a restaurant in the middle of the sea in the East Blue know as the Baratie. He should have a trait called "Sanji's Mentor", Toughness, Willpower, Exploit Weakness, Combat Reflexes and Leadership.
Sanji's Mentor: If there is a friendly character called Sanji with in eight squares of Zeff, Sanji gains the Pirate Chiefs team ability and Zeff gains and +1 to his attack value.
He should have about six clicks of health and starting combat values of Movement 6, Attack 10, Defense 16, Damage 3 and Range 0. He should have Pirate Chiefs TA and his keywords should be Pirate, Pirate Chiefs and Martial Artist. The next One Piece idea should bar a Party and Carne duo.

Lastly is the Pirate Chiefs team ability. It should be the same as the Hypertime one, which is: Whenever an opposing character given an action attempts to move from a non-adjacent square into a square that is adjacent to a character using the Pirate Chiefs team ability, it must roll a d6. On a result of 1-2, the opposing character cannot move to any square adjacent to the character using this team ability that turn. Characters using this team ability ignore it on opposing characters.

Well that is it for this week. Until next time, have fun.
